Krypton International Completes Sewage Treatment Plant at CAAP — A Philippine First in Aviation Infrastructure
March 23, 2026 · Pasay City, Metro Manila
Krypton International Resources Inc. marks a historic milestone with the inauguration of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) — the first government aviation facility in the country to adopt IFAS (Integrated Fixed-Film Activated Sludge) technology.
The project was completed on January 29, 2026 and formally inaugurated on March 23, 2026 at the CAAP headquarters along MIA Road, Pasay City. It stands as a testament to Krypton International's commitment to delivering innovative environmental solutions for government infrastructure.
The IFAS technology at the core of this facility is a hybrid biological treatment system known for its high efficiency in treating sewage within a compact footprint — making it ideal for operational facilities like airports and aviation complexes.
The STP directly supports DENR compliance requirements and strengthens CAAP's sustainability efforts, aligning with the environmental goals set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The inauguration ceremony was attended by CAAP officials, project stakeholders, and the Krypton International team.
This achievement underscores Krypton International Resources Inc.'s growing portfolio in sustainable infrastructure and environmental engineering — providing industry solutions that meet international standards while serving the Philippine government's modernization agenda.
